The Rover is a crucial aid to our Regional Managers, entrusted with reinforcing TCS's dedication to exceeding expectations in delivering supreme security services, which our clients seek and richly deserve. Our top priorities are giving our clients assurance and peace of mind and ensuring their ultimate safety against unexpected, malicious liability and losses. Our mission also encompasses hiring highly skilled staff and leveraging state-of-the-art technology to deliver at the highest levels. Protects our premises, assets, and personnel, maintains a high visibility presence, and prevents illegal or inappropriate actions.
A. Requirements and Responsibilities
Rover has the following responsibilities, but not limited including but not limited to the following:
A.1 Rover will conduct security patrols.
A.2 Rover will provide customer service support.
A.3 Rover will assist with call-offs and last-minute coverage.
A.4 Rover will ensure property, people, and site safety and security.
A.5 Rover will supervise & manage employees on your assigned shift.
A.6 Rover will maintain a healthy, professional relationship with our client at the assigned site.
A.7 Rover will retrieve paperwork and other materials from various sites.
A.8 Rover will assist with new contract start initiatives.
A.9 Rover will assist the RMs with various administrative duties.
A.10 Rover will immediately replace any Officer for any reason detrimental to the client or company or that violates the contract or any company policy.
A.11 Rover will immediately notify the PM if:
1. A Security Officer isn't present.
2. A Security Officer isn't performing their duties as required.
3. A Security Officer is suspected of being Under the Influence.
4. Or any other reason detrimental to the client or company.
A.12 Rover is in a supervisory position and is required to administer corrective actions following company policies as directed.
A.13 The Rover would have to have flexibility in Maryland, DC, and VA with a concentration on Baltimore County/City, Harford County, Anne Arundel County, and Prince Georges County.
B. Administrative Duties
B.1 Rover will provide administrative support to the RMs.
B.2 Rover will submit inspection, incident, corrective actions, and all required documentation daily.
B.3 Rover will collect and inspect log-in and out sheets.
B.4 Rover may be required to input time into the company's timekeeping system.
C. Qualifications:
C.1 Rover must be 21 years of age.
C.2 Rover must have all or be eligible to obtain training as determined by RMs.
C.3 Rover must have at least three years of security experience.
C.4 Rover must have at least one year of supervisory experience.
C.5 Rover must have and maintain a valid driver's license and good driving record (candidate must submit current copies of both during onboarding).
C.6 Rover must submit and pass an initial and recurring drug test(s).
C.7 Rover must agree to an initial and recurring criminal background check.
C.8 Rover will be proficient in Microsoft Office, Word, and Excel.
C.9 Rover must comply with the company's Fitness for Duty policy*
D. Training
Rover must receive and maintain initial and recurring training to include but not limited to the following:
D.1 CPR and First Aid
D.2 All Security-related training required for an unarmed and armed guard (including OC spray, baton, handcuffing, etc.)
D.3 Security Supervisor training
D.4 Security Manager training
D.5 De-escalation and Dealing with Difficult Customers training
D.6 All EEO training (Inclusion, Diversity, Harassment, etc.)
D.7 All training required by the Director of Human Resources
D.8 Any other training mandated by the company
